Lenten Studies – Continues through March, 2010 at 6:00 pm

The Lenten Studies begin Wednesday, February 24 at 6:00 pm with a light supper followed by a selection of activities to choose from. There is a book study of “The Last Week” by Borg & Crossan, also a Class titled “Jesus’ Time – history, politics, and religion”, and a Children’s Chimes Group to join. All are invited to attend. CW/CMF General Meeting – February 24 – 11:00 am

The general meeting for the CW/CMF will be held on Wednesday, February 24 at 11:00 am in the Multimedia Room. For only $5, all are invited to attend our annual “Fat Tuesday” luncheon at noon. Radical Hospitality – February 27

Join us on Saturday, February 27 beginning at 10:00 am for our Radical Hospitality Workshop. This workshop will answer questions about being hospitable. It offers a chance to move forward in our recognition of being God’s church and being a “user” friendly church. The entire church family is encouraged to come to some or all of this workshop. Pre-Marriage Class – Month of February

Engaged? Newly Married? First Christian Church is starting a Pre-Marriage class every Sunday in February at 10:00 am in the Bridal Parlor. This four week course provides an overview on building a healthy and happy marriage. This is not therapy. This is a discussion group that is meant to explore relevant topics in a safe, supportive environment while at the same time recognizing that emotional topics may arise. Topics covered include from wedding day to married life, family, religion, and whatever else comes up. Come talk about marriage! This is a free class.
